Tremaine Emory’s label Denim Tears has reached a fever pitch in the streetwear world, to the point where the brand’s all-over print hoodies and sweats have become ubiquitous in cities around the world. For its latest collab, Emory and Denim Tears are teaming up with adidas for an instantly recognizable take on the adidas Superstar.
The Denim Tears x adidas Superstar collab covers the iconic shell toe silhouette in a multi-color woven mix like a Ghana Must Go bag, large totes found across Africa and the African diaspora. The woven print has been used throughout fashion for years, and fits perfectly with Denim Tears’ perspective on fashion and culture.

Seen in just a few previewed images, including on-foot images of Luka Sabbat wearing the sneaker, the collab colorway starts with a cream shell toe and midsole, before switching to a white Ghana Must Go bag base with strips of black, red, and blue woven through. The Three Stripes bring a black-and-white two-tone, with more cream on the laces and sockliner.
The Denim Tears x adidas Superstar Ghana Must Go Bag will be released sometime before the month is over through Denim Tears, adidas, and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail prices are still TBD. To keep up with all the latest adidas Superstar collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
