The Superstar is, well, a superstar. From the early days of Run DMC to its modern turn as a skate shoe, the adidas shell toe is one of the founding pieces of footwear in sneaker history. Over the past year, The Three Stripes has brought the hype back to the Superstar with a collection of collaborative redesigns that have refreshed the silhouette and introduced it to a new generation of sneakerheads.
The latest Superstar collab is a sequel from Manchester, UK streetwear brand Drama Call, which helped kick off the Superstar’s limited returns last fall. This time around, Drama takes inspiration from the black cat, covering the shoe in butter-soft black leather. White patent Three Stripes branding leads the way for a series of star accents using Drama’s triple-stacked, four-pronged logo. Star-shaped shell toe details match the first collab pair, and more star accents are added between the stripes, on the tongue logo, and on the silver hangtag.

Black patent leather is added to the heel to match the white patent branding, while a Drama logo sits above the Stripes in more striking white. Finally, an icy blue outsole sits underfoot, and a map of Manchester is added to the insole.
The Drama Call x adidas Superstar II Black White will be released May 30, 2026 through Drama Call. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is still TBD. For all the latest adidas Superstar collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
