If you thought that adidas’s foray into the world of modern streetwear was a flash in the pan at the end of last year, the German brand is quickly proving you wrong. Keeping up The Three Stripes’ collaborations with a new wave of fashion labels running the culture, adidas is finally set to release the highly anticipated Sp5der Superstar in flashy red patent leather after a limited drop of the Yellow Black variant.
The sp5der x adidas Superstar collab popped up on our radar during the back half of 2025, and now, we’ve finally got official looks at both the red and black patent leather shell toes. On the red pair, the Three Stripe logos are brought to the front of the side panels like the adidas Super Modified to leave more room for the all-over print spiderweb inlays that shine on both side panels.
More black patent is added to the heel tab and the Sp5der logo on the puffy tongue. Sp5der logos are added to the see-through outsoles and the heel of the midsole, with the brand’s 555-555 logo added to the underside of the tongues.
The Sp5der x adidas Superstar Red will be released February 27, 2026 through Sp5der's website. A global launch via adidas and select retailers in-store and online will take place March 3.
