The year of the streetwear Superstar is coming to a close with a bang. After months of previews and expectations of a drop in 2026, Young Thug’s clothing label SP5DER surprised fans with the announcement of a shock drop of the adidas collab Superstars today, December 30, 2025, through the SP5DER website.
The SP5DER x adidas Superstar is a gold and black weathered mix with the black Three Stripe branding moved forward on the foot, similar to the adidas Super Modified, 555-555 branding across the clear outsole, and spider imagery throughout, including a silver spider hangtag pendant.
So far, we’ve only seen the shoes pop up on social media from streamer Ben Da Don, but the announcement for today’s shock drop came alongside a commercial posted to Instagram by SP5DER with a closer look at the shining gold colorway. In the commercial, two men sit on a bed with no sheets in a dingy hotel room, putting on the collab shoes with suits in front of an old TV.
The SP5DER x adidas Superstar Yellow will be released today, December 30, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST through www.kingspider.co as part of the brand’s 8DAYSOFSP5DER.
