For Center City sneaker boutique Lapstone & Hammer, the team’s latest exclusive Asics drop is a tribute to one of the city’s larger-than-life figures, on and off the football field.

The Lapstone & Hammer x Asics Gel-NYC 2.0 GEL-PHL takes the popular Gel-NYC 2.0 and remixes it for the City of Brotherly Love. Starting with Eagles-green suede on the toe, lace, and heel panels, a white base gives way to metallic silver accents with a black outsole and grey details on the midsole.
To roll out the pair, Lapstone tapped Eagles Chief of Security, sideline goon, and local Philly legend Big Dom for an editorial shoot with a new take on The Most Interesting Man in the World concept that also features a cameo from comedian Pete Davidson. Lapstone previewed the editorial campaign on Instagram, with a longer video set to drop before the shoe arrives later this week.
