After the dust settled and the adidas Yeezy partnership was no more, there was a mass exodus of talented designers from Ye’s collaborative footwear empire. Probably the biggest name of all, Steven Smith, landed a job at Crocs, joining the Colorado clog company as head of creative innovations in November 2024. Today, he has multiple silhouettes under his belt at Crocs and HEYDUDE, including the Roy and Ripple for Crocs and the Stride S for HEYDUDE. Next up in the Crocs Ripple line is a purple-accented Oyster colorway.

This latest colorway of Steven Smith’s Crocs Ripple continues the two-tone colorblocking seen on previous pairs like the Moonlight, Graphite, Lime Burst, and the OG White Blue. Here, the Mellow Foam pods on the upper and the footbed are rendered in a deep purple hue dubbed Currant. The raisin purple hue is accented by a creamy white shade, oyster, on the EVA foam on the rest of the futuristic model. Finishing the slip-on is the purple Mellow Foam on the outsole.
The Crocs Ripple Oyster will be released on September 3, 2026, through Crocs and select retailers, both online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $90.
