While the early 2020s were littered with Air Jordan 1 High releases (and demand was at an all-time high), Jordan Brand has switched its strategy regarding MJ’s first model. Fewer releases have been added to the release calendar, even going into 2026. Joining the women’s Pale Ivory Pro Green rendition and the special edition version of the AJ 1 High ‘85 Bred for Holiday 2025 is a Sail Elephant Print color scheme.
The pair opts for a primarily neutral color palette across its smooth and textured leather upper. Sail shades come placed on the mudguard, lower eyestay, collar overlay, and heel, while white is used for the toebox, midfoot panel, and middle eyelets. Elephant print, a detail originally from the Air Jordan 3, is applied to the grey suede Swoosh, matching the grey hues used on the collar underlay.

Faux vintage ripstop nylon is placed on the tongue, contrasting the white hemp used on the middle eyestay and the red Nike Air label on the tongue tag. Another reworked detail is found on the toe, with a Jumpman embroidered in a tonal grey finish akin to how Jordan Brand applied the logo to the Nike SB Air Jordan 1. The sneaker is complete with a white rubber midsole and a clear outsole that reveals red "FLIGHT" text.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sail Elephant Print will release Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $185 (men), $140 (GS), $85 (PS), and $70 (TD).
