Jordan Brand loves to recall colorways from other models and apply them to different silhouettes, best exemplified with the Air Jordan 1. Just recently, official Air Jordan 1 Mid Black Metallic images emerged, an homage to the iconic Air Jordan 5 colorway set to be Reimagined in Spring 2025. Joining this homage train is a new Air Jordan 1 Low that recalls the classic Jordan Cool Grey colorway.
Drawing comparisons to the Air Jordan 11 Cool Grey, but more than likely an homage to the Air Jordan 9 Cool Grey as it is returning in Spring 2025, the model comes with patent leather and suede details. Grey-shaded patent leather hits the mudguard, eyestays, collar, Swoosh, and heel overlay, while a lighter shade of grey finds a home on the suede toebox and midfoot. Tonal greys continue onto the tongue, which features a white lace set and more grey details in the form of the Jumpman logo embroidered up top. Back on the heel sits a white embroidered Jordan Wings logo. The white rubber midsole finishes the design paired with a clear rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Cool Grey released today, December 20, 2024, is available now through Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
