The Air Jordan 6 still remains one of Michael Jordan’s most important silhouettes in his storied line of signature sneakers. Not only does it have a bevy of iconic colorways in its own right, but the Jordan 6 holds the distinction of being the silhouette in which His Airness secured his first Larry O’Brien against the Magic Johnson-led Los Angeles Lakers in 1991. That date means that 2026 marks the 35th anniversary of the sneaker which means a deluge of colorways coming to market. After being initially rumored for this year, the Air Jordan 6 is reported to have a Light Aqua colorway on the horizon for 2027.
Air Jordan 6 Light Aqua Details
According to mockups, the sneaker exudes a Ken Griffey Jr. or even a Tiffany-esque energy due to its entirely teal upper. Additionally, black accents are reported to pop up on the sole unit, spoiler-inspired heel tab, as well as the laces and throat. The colorway is also rumored to feature Nike Air branding on the heel as a nod to its roots, which is also expected to be black. Hints of metallic silver are said to show up on the midsole, the heel spoiler, and the lace lock to complete the appearance. Of course, these mockups are subject to change as the release date approaches.

As reported by zSneakerheads and Sneaker Files, the Air Jordan 6 Light Aqua will be released June 18, 2027 via Nike and select retailers. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $215.
