Jordan is a global brand, with a reach that spans every continent and crosses every ocean. So when it’s time to celebrate an anniversary for one of Mike’s most iconic silhouettes, the Jumpman doesn’t restrict itself to just the States. As we continue to see new pairs of the Air Jordan 6 previewed for release during the silhouette’s 35th anniversary year, this latest pair won’t get a US release.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro Sashiko continues Jordan and Nike’s sashiko stitch obsession, bringing the centuries-old technique to the AJ 6. Starting with a tan leather base and adding monochrome canvas paneling in between, the star of the shoe is the sashiko stitching added to every side of the jagged side panel overlay and a multi-color tongue cover in blue and orange with cream-colored stitching across it.

The midsole of the Sashiko 6 mixes white, cream, and hits of light blue to match the tongue cover. Designed to reinforce and add beauty, sashiko stitching has been added to pairs of the Nike SB Dunk and Blazer, the Kyrie S2, Vomero 5, and, most recently, the Jordan Session skate shoe.
The Air Jordan 6 Retro Sashiko will be released overseas Summer 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is still TBD. For all the latest Jordan retro news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
