When you spend the first decade plus of existence releasing a new icon every year, you’re going to have a lot of anniversaries to celebrate. Jordan is just a few months removed from the 40th birthday of the Air Jordan 1 and the birth of the brand, but we’ve already moved on to the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 6, with early-year drops of the genie-granted Air Jordan 6 Infrared Salesman and the ultra-limited BIN 23, and there’s a lot of year left to celebrate.
The latest Air Jordan 6 colorway is dropping exclusively in women’s sizing, combining two classic colorways from the Jordan palette, Sail and Neutral Olive. Adding premium materials throughout, the one-piece toebox and base of the shoe feature textured leather in the tan olive shade, while sail-colored suede stacks on top in zig-zag support paneling and covers the heel.
A gold tongue and lace toggle give the colorway a regal look, with a mix of olive green and icy translucent white on the midsole. The fir green insoles give the shoe another bit of luxury with a designer-style tag stitched in. Instead of a Nike Air hit on the heel, Air Jordan is written in cursive script below a small Jumpman logo.
