Over 15 years removed from the last Bin23 Air Jordan release, Jordan Brand has finally decided to revive the ultra-limited and premium series in 2026. Helping kick things off will be the Air Jordan 6 Retro, marking its first Bin23 colorway, while the Air Jordan 3 Retro will join the party in Summer 2026
For those unaware, the Bin23 series began in 2010 and ran through 2011 and featured five Air Jordan sneakers (including the AJ 2, AJ 5, AJ 7, AJ 9, and AJ 13) that were limited to fewer than 2,300 pairs each. The Jordan Brand design team behind the pairs looked at the project as “wearable art,” taking inspiration from limited batches in wine culture with the red wax seal, upgraded materials, and extra accessories included in the packaging.

The pair is done with premium materials throughout, using a high-end nubuck suede finish on the darker wine red portions of the upper and an almost cracked suede on the mudguard. Elephant print still remains, as it's done in brown and burgundy on the toe cap and heel, while the iconic Bin23 wax seal is stamped on the tongue tag. Final details include golden accents on the bottom and top eyelets, a tonal brown Nike Air logo on the heel, burgundy leather accents on the sockliner, and a vintage-style faux aged midsole.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro PRM Bin23 will release Summer 2026. Exactly how the pair will be released, and exactly how limited it will be, remains a mystery at this time.
