Over 15 years removed from the last Bin23 Air Jordan release, Jordan Brand has finally decided to revive the ultra-limited and premium series in 2026. Helping kick things off will be the Air Jordan 6 Retro, marking its first Bin23 colorway, while the Air Jordan 3 Retro will join the party in Summer 2026
For those unaware, the Bin23 series began in 2010 and ran through 2011 and featured five Air Jordan sneakers (including the AJ 2, AJ 5, AJ 7, AJ 9, and AJ 13) that were limited to fewer than 2,300 pairs each. The Jordan Brand design team behind the pairs looked at the project as “wearable art,” taking inspiration from limited batches in wine culture with the red wax seal, upgraded materials, and extra accessories included in the packaging.

Currently, there are no images of the Air Jordan 3 Retro PRM Bin23, but we know the official color scheme will consist of team red, metallic gold, burgundy crush, coconut milk, smokey mauve, and gym red. We constructed a speculative mock-up based on these colors, with the premium canvas and suede paneling on the upper done in varying red hues. Expect to see the red wax seal stamped along the tongue and golden pops on the Nike Air text on the heel and portions of the sole unit.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro PRM Bin23 will release Summer 2026. Exactly how the pair will be released, and exactly how limited it will be, remains a mystery at this time. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on info regarding the Bin AJ 3s and more in the sneaker and streetwear world over on the Sole Retriever mobile app.
