Nigel Sylvester officially debuted his original Air Jordan 4 Retro collaboration, the Brick By Bricks, in a fashion show at The Standard, High Line, in NYC. The event was filled with stars, industry vets, and friends of Sylvester, who all were fortunate enough to witness a runway show that featured first looks at Sylvester’s first-ever collaborative apparel collection with Jordan Brand and an on-foot look at the upcoming Brick by Brick AJ4. Nigel also took this opportunity full of eyes to tease us with a look at another Nigel x Air Jordan 4 release.
In the show, most models were sporting the upcoming Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP Brick By Brick, but one in particular was wearing what, at first glance, appears to be the Air Jordan 4 Retro OG Fire Red. The pair has a deep-rooted history in the AJ4s lineage as one of the four original colorways released on the sneaker when it first hit shelves in 1989 and was last released in 2020. Upon closer inspection, the pair worn by the model features an added mini Swoosh near the lateral toe, a touch found on all of Nigel’s previous collaborations, including his two AJ4 RMs and his Air Jordan 1 High from 2018.

Over a year after this initial tease, and Nigel officially unveiled his Air Jordan 4 Brick After Brick colorway. The pair uses similar details found on the first Nigel AJ 4, like the mini Swoosh on the toe, Bike Air text on the heel, Jordan Biking Co. branding on the tongue, and the brick-inspired packaging. However, the silhouette now comes constructed out of full-grain leather in a sail hue. Inspiration for the theme on this pair is explained by Nigel. "These 4s are the next chapter in the Bike Air Brick journey. This next chapter, the Brick After Brick, dives into the discipline and consistency it takes to sustain success while continuing to build.”
The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP Brick After Brick will be released Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Retail is set at $230.
