The mid-2000s were all about yellow and white. Led by Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong charity and the ubiquitous yellow wristbands that took over culture, the color of sunshine dominated the mid-aughts from fashion to cars and everywhere in between. Jordan Brand brought its own yellow hits to the Jordan 4 with the 2006 Tour Yellow colorway, mixing speckled yellow with white leather, silver accents, and a velcro tongue label for a memorable mix.
Now, approaching 20 years after the original release of the Air Jordan 4 Tour Yellow, Jumpman is coming back with an anniversary retro dropping in 2026. Staying true to the OG construction, the upper is done in premium white leather, with silver accents on the tips of the lace wings, black on the outsole, back lace wing, and Velcro Jumpman Flight tongue label, which can be switched out for replacement patches. Embedded in the Velcro is “Rare Air” text, a feature that actually got its start on the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 two years before. The yellow is added to the speckled midsole and the Flight tongue logo.
