The 2000s are all the rage now, and everybody is trying to tap into that early aughts energy, including Jordan Brand, which has brought back a swath of 2000s-era retro Air Jordans. After over a decade of waiting, the Air Jordan 8 Chrome is finally making a return.
Originally released in 2003, the Air Jordan 8 Chrome marked the first non-OG colorway of the AJ 8 to hit shelves. The colorway set the stage for a surge of Jordan 8 colorways and helped to revive the model during the halcyon days of the retro era.
Ahead of its return this fall, retailer images of the highly requested colorway have arrived. Last seen in 2015, the model stays true to its original form with a black nubuck upper that spreads throughout and up to the crossing midfoot straps. Anchoring those straps are metallic silver buckles, giving the colorway its namesake.

Adding more depth to the look are grey accents appearing throughout the celebrated silhouette. A deep shade of grey highlights the midsole and makes an appearance in the distinctive abstract mudguard. The 23 on the straps features white numbers lined with a matching chrome trim. The chenille patch on the tongue surrounds the white Jumpman in a trio of black, dark, and light grey.
The Air Jordan 8 Chrome releases Fall 2026 via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in a full-family size run, the retail prices are set at $215 (men), $165 (GS), $105 (PS), and $90 (TD).
