When we were on Broadway for the New York Knicks championship parade in June, countless fans popped out to celebrate wearing colorways technically made for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Next year, Jordan is bringing a true-to-NYC combo to the mix, putting Knicks accents on a black Air Jordan 8 Retro.

The Air Jordan 8 Retro Knicks is the latest leak to look forward to on the Jordan release calendar. The sneaker features black nubuck across most of the upper, with accenting orange and blue colors as a callout to the New York Knicks. The first hit of Knicks colors comes on the "23" embroidered on the lockdown strap, which is rendered in orange with blue trim. The chenille tongue tag also comes in this combo, featuring blue chenille material next to an orange Jumpman.
The metallic buckle is done in blue, while the pull tab on the heel is orange. The famous TPU panel on the back half of the upper is given a blue makeover with black and orange graphics applied. Down below sits a black and orange foam midsole paired with a black, blue, and orange rubber outsole.
Air Jordan 8 Retro Knicks Release Details
