When it comes to the pantheon of great scorers in the NBA, Michael Jordan is the hallmark. The 10-time NBA scoring champ was always able to fill it up, nabbing his first scoring title at only 23 years old while averaging a blistering 37 points. With that level of scoring prowess, there have been more than a few high-scoring nights for the Black Cat, including over five games scoring 60 or more—joining a very short list of prolific scorers.
Those high-scoring feats resulted in the people at Jordan Brand cooking up a silhouette in 2009 to highlight the models in which he recorded his highest scoring outputs with the Air Jordan Sixty Plus. Now, nearly two decades later, the silhouette is making a return as a low-top.
The hybrid model interpolates elements from the Jordan 1, 2, 5, and 7 into a unique makeup. The sneaker features the toe of the Air Jordan 1 with the perforated toe—a feature new to the low-top rendition, paneling from the Jordan 5 and 7 overlap on the side, while the heel counter draws from the Jordan 2.
Joining the Fire Red rendition, the Air Jordan Sixty Plus Low Sail aims to keep the silhouette clean with the only hints of color being minor silver detailing appearing on the Jumpman found on the tongue, while a muted shade of gray appears on the 23 branding on the heel counter. Completing the all-white affair is an icy translucent outsole perfect for the snowy silhouette.
The Air Jordan Sixty Plus Low Sail is set to release in Summer 2026 via Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160. For everything Jordan brand, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
