Jordan Release Calendar

Women’s basketball has never been as popular as it is today. From the youth game to the NCAA, new leagues like Unrivaled, and especially the WNBA, there are more women hoop celebrities and icons than ever before. Stars like A’ja Wilson and Caitlin Clark are ushering in a new era for the sport. Never one to be left behind, the sneaker industry is following suit, putting increasing amounts of money and resources into women’s basketball. At Jordan Brand, the shift is easy to see, especially in the women’s-exclusive Heir Series.
The Jordan Heir Series 2 is the sequel to 2024’s Jordan Heir women’s-focused basketball shoe, and this time around, the silhouette gets an aesthetic and performance upgrade, with a full TPU exoskeleton over breathable mesh side panels and leather on the toe and lace panels. An Air Zoom unit in the midsole provides comfort and stability for quick moves to the rim.

The Jordan Heir Series 2 Black University Red will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115. For all the latest Jordan news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
