If you look at the Jordan Jumpman logo with a dancer’s mind, it kinda looks like a Grand Jeté. After dominating the women’s sneakers market in 2025, the low-profile, dance-inspired balletcore style is only picking up steam in the new year, including a chunky crossover ballet trainer from The Jumpman. The latest women’s exclusive Jordan Pointe is street-ready in black and sail.
The Jordan Pointe Black Sail is a throwback crosstrainer with modern sensibilities, adding swooping panels across the toe, side panels, and heel with soft, breathable black fabric above it. Instead of a tongue, the forefoot is exposed like a dance slipper, with a velcro strap at the top and black lace instead of laces that climb all the way up the ankle.

We’ve already seen two bright monochrome colorways of the hybrid dance shoe trainer in blue and red, making the black and sail pair the first two-tone blend we’ve seen. If the balletcore trend is going to continue into the new year, Jordan will be right there pirouetting straight to the bank.
The Jordan Pointe Black Sail will be released Spring 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125. For all the latest Jordan news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
