The NBA, NCAA, and even high school basketball all take the summer off, but for real hoopers, the hottest months of the year are the best time to get out early and find the best city park pick-up runs, while pros and college hoopers pop up at indie runs like The Drew League in LA and Dyckman in NYC. As we get closer to the summer hoops season, Jordan is rolling out a new silhouette built for every hooper and every court.
The Jordan Triangle Black Barely Volt is one of three debut colorways dropping this July. Taking its name from the triangle offense that Jordan and the Bulls ran throughout the ‘90s, the Triangle is a low-profile performance basketball shoe made for agility, speed, and hops, no matter what position you play, stacking strategically placed ZoomX and Air Zoom cushioning in the tech-packed midsole.

On the Black Barely Volt colorway, Jordan Brand starts with a black base across the leather lace panel, tongue, and carbon fiber-style mesh. Jordan brings two of Beaverton’s favorite colors, Barely Volt green and Infrared 23 to the accent colors, with the slime green shade on the toebox, outsole, and top lace loop, and Infrared 23 on the Jumpman tongue logo and heel branding. Lastly, more black is added to the oval panels on either side of the toe.
The Jordan Triangle Black Barely Volt will be released July 2, 2026 through Nike and select Jordan retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $145. For all the latest Jordan Brand news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
