Jordan Brand has something for everybody, from the four decades worth of legacy retro sneakers, sneakers for on-court performances, and hybrid models. They’ve recently gotten in their lifestyle runner bag, returning to the cross-trainer-inspired line of the Jordan Trunner.
The Jordan Trunner O/S has been one of the surprising bright spots in the Jordan catalog, serving as a modern continuation of the classic Jordan Trunner line that dates back to the early 2000s. As a portmanteau of trainer and runner, the shoe is built to support the training of athletes across the spectrum of sport, but the lifestyle vibes have made the silhouette a fresh hit for Jordan Brand. The blend of suede and mesh put it in contention with the booming lifestyle runner market of brands like Saucony and New Balance.
This new Burgundy Ash colorway is the latest entry in the growing library of colorways for the Trunner O/S. The silhouette begins with a burgundy mesh base that’s exposed from the toe to the side panel for maximum breathability. Adding to that lifestyle runner aesthetic are purple suede overlays on the toe and eyelets. The sneaker’s standout midfoot TPU stabilizers come in a semi-translucent deep purple that could be mistaken for black at first glance.
The heel features another member of the purple family with a maroon mesh construction on the heel collar. The multitude of purple shades are capped off with an off-white midsole and a glossy black and red Jumpman heel counter to offer a shake-up to the monochrome moment happening on the rest of the silhouette.
The Jordan Trunner O/S Burgundy Ash is set to release in Summer 2026, but an official date has yet to be announced. The sneaker will release via Nike and select retailers online and in-store.
