We’ve already seen an extensive pack of Nike shoes coming out to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, but you didn’t expect Jordan to sit the holiday out, did you? As the Chinese Zodiac turns over to the Year of the Horse, the Jumpman is getting its saddle ready, but not with a numbered retro. Instead, Jordan is kicking off the Chinese New Year celebration with one of its newest silhouettes, the Jordan Trunner O/S.
The Jordan Trunner O/S Year of the Horse fits well with the Nike side of the Lunar New Year pack, mixing brown earth tones and black panels with carefully selected premium materials. The wrap-around toe that covers the bottom half of the upper is done in hairy black suede for a barnyard vibe, with pale brown ripstop covering the one-piece upper panel, and more hairy suede, this time in light brown, on the lace panel and tongue. The TPU support wings on either side of the side panel are also done in brown, with yellow branding on the Jordan logo on the vamp and Jumpman on the side panel.
