Even with all the work that goes into being at the helm of New Balance’s Made in USA line, Teddy Santis still finds time to collaborate with his own label, Aimé Leon Dore. The Queens, NY fashion brand is in the midst of rolling out its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, and we’ve already seen previews of multiple projects with New Balance. While we’re still waiting on the 471 from ALD that was leaked months ago, the brand has announced release info for its latest New Balance 1300 Made in USA.
The majority of the upper is doused in a deep midnight navy blue hue, with overlays done in premium hairy pigskin suede. Below this sits a breathable mesh in the same hue, while a burst of yellow shines on the leather heel tab. Here, New Balance branding is embroidered in white, reserving the ALD nods for the 1300-branded tongue tag. More nods to Aimé Leon Dore are found on the yellow insole. Finishing the upper is the white lace set sitting on a white tongue, the grey N logo on the midfoot backed with white leather, and a grey stabilizer on the heel. Down below sits a white and grey midsole and a black rubber outsole.
This isn’t ALD’s first rodeo with the 1300. Back in 2021, during the early stages of ALD’s partnership with New Balance, the two dropped a two-pack of 1300s. Both pairs used a similar hairy suede construction on the overlays and a tonal color palette across the suede and mesh panels, one in green and another in pink.
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1300 Made in USA Navy is available now through early access for select ALD customers, but a wider release will take place on March 26, 2026. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
