Jordan Release Calendar

New Balance just keeps rolling. In the last year, they’ve debuted a series of new models, like the ABZORB 2000, 2010, and, more recently, the 5030; nabbed the number one pick in the NBA Draft; and teamed up with Action Bronson for two colorways of another new silhouette, the 1890. The team in Boston isn’t forgetting about the famed 992 for the fans of the suede and mesh silhouette in the Spring/Summer 2026 catalog.
The 992 saw a resurgence when New Balance partnered with Chicago designer Joe Freshgoods for the No Emotions are Emotions collection in 2020, but after 2022, the silhouette went back into the archives. Fast forward to 2025 with JFG’s Aged Well collab, which helped relaunch the silhouette, and the 992 has become a staple of the Teddy Santis-led Made in USA collection.
The popular silhouette’s blend of mesh and suede textures makes it a perfect canvas for an understated earthtone look, like the upcoming New Balance 992 Made in USA Olivine. A muted sage green makes up the mesh on the toebox and ankle, and the suede overlays on the toe, mudguard, heel counter, and eyestays.
Creamy tan bits make up the support overlays near the midfoot, while that same cream drapes the hairy suede heel tab. Going just a shade darker are caramel colored accents that can be found on the tongue, outlining the N logo, and the 992 branding near the collar. Other details include USA printed on the heel cutouts, and the namesake olivine hits on the TPU heel counter, eyelets, and midsole. A pre-aged off-white midsole and gum outsole add to the blend of earthy tones and complete the look.
