Salehe Bembury doesn’t rest. The designer has been busy with steady drops from his Crocs Pollex line, Puma Hali 1s, and, of course, his own Spunge footwear brand, but don’t worry, Bembury hasn’t forgotten about the mesh and suede heads over at New Balance.
The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 Made in USA continues Bembury’s inspiration from nature that he’s carried across brands, harkening back to the 2002R colorways that started it all. This time around, Bembury takes a lakeside hike, combining shades of tree-canopy green in hairy suede with water-blue mesh. The toe gets the darkest shade of green, with a hit of grey suede along the bottom of the side panels, and a lighter shade of green on the heel.
More green foliage suede is added in a slightly darker shade between the blue mesh panels, with yellow on the “N” side panel logo and tongue branding for some contrasting vibes. The midsole is done in two shades of greenish yellow, with a small hit of pinkish red on the tongue stabilizer. Bembury brings the theme together on the custom box, with a lakeside scene surrounded by tall trees covering the packaging.
The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 Made in USA will be released January 1, 2026 through Offspring in the UK, followed by a wide release on Bembury's site on February 12. New Balance will release the pair on February 20. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $230.
