Salehe Bembury doesn’t rest. The designer has been busy with steady drops from his Crocs Pollex line, Puma Hali 1s, and, of course, his own Spunge footwear brand, but don’t worry, Bembury hasn’t forgotten about the mesh and suede heads over at New Balance.
The Salehe Bembury x New Balance 992 Made in USA continues Bembury’s inspiration from nature that he’s carried across brands, harkening back to the 2002R colorways that started it all. This time around, Bembury takes a lakeside hike, combining shades of tree-canopy green in hairy suede with water-blue mesh. The toe gets the darkest shade of green, with a hit of grey suede along the bottom of the side panels, and a lighter shade of green on the heel.
