New Balance’s Latest 992 is Covered in Sea Stone

The team over at New Balance sure is busy, huh? From the futuristic ABZORB family expanding with the 1890 and 5030 to Tyrese Maxey’s first signature sneaker, and of course, collaborations with the likes of Joe Freshgoods, it’s amazing that the Boston-based brand finds time for it all. At the core of the brand, however, is the Made in USA line, something that sets NB apart from the rest of the footwear industry. Now, after getting a preview of Teddy Santis’ latest seasonal collection, the next drop is set, including this New Balance 992 Made in USA.

Joining a Drift Red New Balance 1300 Made in USA, this tonal 992 coats most of the model in a seaside-friendly shade of ocean blue. This titular Sea Stone shade is present on the premium pigskin suede panels on the toe, midfoot, eyestays, heel, and tongue, as well as the mesh base. Darker navy blue is found on the nubuck panels on the toebox and collar, while a pop of purple appears on the heel.
