Jordan Release Calendar

New Balance continues to impress with its innovative takes on classic styles, particularly with the introduction of the 1906L model, a stylish loafer version of the beloved 1906R mesh runner. After a successful launch in the second half of 2024, 2025 will feature a new Rich Oak colorway.
The New Balance 1906L Rich Oak steps away from its predecessors' typical mesh and synthetic materials, opting instead for a luxurious full-suede upper that exudes a rich, autumnal vibe. This model features the distinctive triangular overlays of the 1906R, adapted to suit the loafer's sleek silhouette. Integrating a TPU heel counter enhances durability without sacrificing the shoe’s refined aesthetic.

Unique to this loafer iteration is replacing the traditional lacing system with an elegant suede strap, simplifying the profile while maintaining a secure fit. Subtle branding includes an embroidered N logo on the toe and 1906L text on the lateral heel, signaling its unique loafer design. The design is completed with an all-black foam midsole and a matching rubber outsole, ensuring that style meets comfort and functionality.
The New Balance 1906L Rich Oak released overseas in January 2025, but will have a US release via Concepts on February 5, 2025. A wider release via New Balance and other retailers will come at a later date. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
