New Balance is keeping its foot on the gas. Between the brand’s renewed push in pro sports and embrace of retro classics from the Made in USA and Made in UK lines, the Boston-based brand is still churning out new lifestyle hits, including the new AC Runner and the latest addition to the 900-series, the New Balance 983.
Debuting in a blue and grey colorway with the help of Coco Gauff at the top of the month, the 983 brings a new mix of mesh, synthetic, and leather to the catalog, mixing a classic look with futuristic ABZORB cushion placement in the heel and a streamlined look.

The New Balance 983 Yellow is the second colorway of the silhouette we’ve seen, combining shades of pale yellow and green with hits of OG New Balance grey. The mesh is an intricate mix of golden circles and diamonds, with pale yellow leather structure, and pale green overlays. The sockliner and laces are grey, and the ABZORB pods are red to round it all out.
The New Balance 983 Yellow will be released October 1, 2026 through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price on the new silhouette is set at $160. To keep up with all the latest from New Balance, download the Sole Retriever App.
