The color on the leaves is starting to shift, the mornings are feeling a little crisp, and the brand-new garden at New Balance’s Made in UK factory in Flimby is experiencing its first shift to fall. After teaming up with London jewelry brand Bleue Burnham on a landscape architecture refresh outside the factory and a collaborative 991v1 in dirt brown, the Made in UK label is adding another fall-ready brown pair of the 991v1 to the in-line catalog.
The New Balance 991v1 Made in UK Luxe Suede is the latest colorway from this year’s 991v1 return after the silhouette was shelved in favor of the v2 version. Per usual, New Balance fans have strong opinions about the minutiae between models, with NB diehards welcoming the 991v1 back with excited fanfare.

On the Luxe Suede colorway, the 991v1 Made in UK matches the Bleue Burnham pair with a monochrome coat of coffee brown suede covering the entire upper, toe to heel. The laces add a lighter shade of brown to the mix, and the sockliner switches to khaki tan leather. Finally, a white midsole and black outsole round out the luxurious drop.
The New Balance 991v1 Made in UK Luxe Suede will be released September 17, 2026, through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $270. For all the latest New Balance Made in UK news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
