The Celtics aren’t the only team in Boston putting up numbers on the hardwood. New Balance’s basketball roster is stacked with veteran and upcoming talent, with a lineup of hoop shoes to match. The Los Angeles Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard is leading the way as the group’s signature athlete with his 5th signature model on the horizon, and Philadelphia 76ers’ Tyrese Maxey is set to join him with his own signature sneaker coming to store shelves later this year.
But New Balance has more in store for the courts than just those two hoopers, as they’ve revamped their hoop line with two renamed and revamped models with the New Balance P350 and the New Balance P400. Joining the upcoming P350 White Gum that uses a mix of whites and off-whites throughout is the New Balance P350 Black Gum launching on the same day. The silhouette is constructed with a breathable mesh base with black suede panels running from the shoe’s toe box and up the eyestays.
The mesh side panels come in a charcoal shade with a white mesh cutout at the midfoot surrounding the large N logo on the lateral side. On the medial side, a mini N logo appears near the ankle collar, and a perforated suede piece near the midfoot of the sneaker adds more stability for New Balance’s growing group of bucketgetters.
An off-white and black FuelCell midsole with a boomerang-shaped TPU support structure brings in more visual details and dynamism to the understated colorway. A pop of red New Balance branding on the tongue tag and a gum rubber outsole bring the on-court kicks together.
The New Balance P350 Black Gum releases on April 1, 2026 via New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in unisex sizes, the retail price is set at $110. For all the latest New Balance news and release info, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
