New Balance Basketball started the year with a clean slate. In addition to a debut signature silhouette from Tyrese Maxey and Kawhi Leonard’s fifth model, the in-line catalog got a refresh, switching the name of the Fresh Foam BB series’ fourth silhouette to the P400. For the P400’s first Grey Days, New Balance is clearing the slate.
The New Balance P400 Grey Days is covered in a monochrome coat of Slate Grey, with the swirling texture of the upper adding changes in elevation instead of color. The midsole stabilizing pattern and the laces go light putty grey for a bit of contrast. The front part of the upper is done in soft leather and synthetic, while the ankle and heel are suede, but all keep the same Slate shade.

Beyond the basketball line, New Balance is bringing the Grey Days hype to the lifestyle, skate, running, and tennis lines, covering every corner of the brand’s catalog. Every year, New Balance goes back to grey to celebrate the iconic dad shoes that made the brand.
The New Balance P400 Grey Days will be released April 30, 2026 through New Balance and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $130. For all the latest New Balance Grey Days news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
