Jack Harlow wants you to go to the park. The Louisville, Kentucky rapper’s latest collab colorway from his ongoing New Balance partnership takes on the T500 walking shoe, and instead of slapping on a color combo and calling it a day, this pair comes along with a thoughtful backstory that connects with the silhouette, Harlow, and city dwellers across the country.
Harlow Loves a Park Stroll in Louisville and NYC
The Jack Harlow x New Balance T500 Olmsted takes its name from the famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who is responsible for both Central Park and Prospect Park in New York City, where Harlow currently spends his time, along with Cherokee Park in Louisville, where Harlow grew up hanging out.
Olmsted’s connection to Harlow's favorite parks inspired him to redesign the T500 walking shoe in a formal coat of soft brown leather, bringing a classic, classy old man vibe to his park strolls. The Black Coffee colorway is a monochrome coat of wrinkled leather with no tongue logos and matching brown laces and midsole.
