While Nike and the rest of the sneaker industry return to the early aughts with colorways coated in shiny patent leather, one section of The Swoosh’s catalog has typically been excused from any patent pairs: Nike SB. With most SB colorways made explicitly for skating, the lack of grip and toughness offered by patent leather typically leaves the shiny material on the cutting room floor. Of course, every rule is defined by its exceptions, and there’s a new pair of patent leather SB Dunks on the way to join past colorways like the Milli Vanilli and a red patent colorway from 2015.
Bringing back some patent for the modern era of SB, the Nike SB Dunk Low Black Spruce pops with a Spruce green upper that shines with a full coat of patent from toe to heel. The two-tone upper adds a sharp yellow tone to the Swoosh and heel tab, with black added to the tongue and laces for some deep contrast.

So far, we’ve only seen a handful of images of a sample pair of the colorway, but in addition to the patent upper, some unique SB accents are added, with a lion-clad crest on the lace stabilizer and Nike written in Olde English font on the heel tab. Finally, a hit of bright orange sits in the middle of the Spruce green outsole.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Black Spurce Green will be released Holiday 2026 through Nike and select skate shops in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $130. For all the latest Nike SB news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
