Quick Facts
- Nike SB is releasing a Costco Kirkland Signature SB Dunk Low
- The pair is inspired by Costco's Heather Grey clothing items
- Expect a release via Nike SNKRS, Nike SB-affiliated skate shops, and potentially Costco for $135 during the Holiday 2025 season
Alright, this thing better be half-off the regular retail price, or at least come in a 6-pack.
In the kind of left-field collab that can only come from Nike SB, new images leaked this week of a Costco x Nike SB DunkKirkland Signature, bringing the big box store’s cult-favorite house brand into the world of sneaker collabs.
The Kirkland Signature Dunk is a replica of the Kirkland heather grey crewneck sweatshirt, with an upper covered in grey jersey fabric and a fleece lining on the inside. There is a Kirkland Signature box logo on the lateral heel, a Kirkland Signature logo on the insole, and a tongue tag with “Kirkland Signature Skateboarding Shoe $135.00” written on the inside like a Costco shelf tag. So much for Costco’s famous discount pricing. There's also a hidden reference to the $1.50 1/4 pound hot dog and drink combo on the Zoom Air unit of the insole. If you're unaware, Costco's food court has sold the $1.50 combo for decades without changing the price, a loss leader that has not given way to inflation since it was introduced in 1984.

Costco’s house brand is known for taking name-brand products like vodka, batteries, olive oil, and selling them under the Kirkland Signature label for a significantly cheaper price. On the clothing side, Kirkland’s cheap white t-shirts and grey sweatshirts have long been a skate community favorite, preferred for their strong construction and low price. The Dunk, on the other hand, is made more like a sweatshirt than a suede or leather skate shoe, so it might be better suited for trips to the hot dog and chicken bake stand than kickflips.
The Costco x Nike SB Dunk Low QS Kirkland Signature will be released Holiday 2025, through Nike and select Nike SB retailers in-store and online. Maybe we’ll get a Costco release as well, but that’s unconfirmed at this time. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
