Bacon can be fickle. You want to hit that perfect crispy, but not burnt sweet spot, because no one likes floppy or burnt bacon. Sometimes, though, especially when you opt for the oven method, time slips away, and your bacon turns out black and inedible. At Nike, the return of the Air Bakin is starting with red-hot and blue-flame OG colorways, with a new multi-color mix shown at Paris Fashion Week, and now, a burnt-to-a-crisp triple-black pair.
The Nike Air Bakin Triple Black features a subtle combo of soft suede on the toe and lower upper paneling and nubuck and rip-stop mesh on the rest of the upper. The iconic wavy side paneling that looks like the coils of an electric stove remains, but in all black, the pair is a little less brash than the two OG retro pairs.

Beyond the full coat of black on the upper, the Nike branding pops in white and metallic silver contrast. Two mini Swooshes are added to the ankle and midsole, with a Nike Basketball logo on the front of the toe and a clear Air bubble at the heel.
The Nike Air Bakin Triple Black will be released Holiday 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $170. For all the latest on Nike retro news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
