Nike covers every corner of the sports and fashion market, from basics like socks and underwear to luxury accessories like diamond necklaces and gold earrings. On the sneaker side of things, Nike’s Lux program has outsourced its finest leather shoes to craftsmen in Italy for pricey high-fashion pairs of the Air Force 1, Air Maxes, and more.
For its latest trip to Italy, Nike is tracking down a retailer instead of a shoemaker, teaming up with Italian sneaker boutique One Block Down for a triple-black pair of the Air Max 95 Big Bubble Lux. Instead of the classic gradient suede side panels, the Lux colorway stacks waves of black leather bubbling up off of the side panels.

Starting with soft black leather on the T-toe, the black leather side panels add texture and depth to the pair. A gridded leather replaces the mesh above the side panels, with more black leather on the lace panel, lace loops, and tongue, with black laces to round it all out. Last but not least, a hit of translucent blue is added inside the Air bubbles in the midsole, and a One Block Down logo is applied to the heel tab.
The One Block Down x Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Lux Black will be released Holiday 2026 along with three more collab colorways, exclusively through One Block Down in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $200. To keep up with all the latest Nike collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
