The Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble Varsity Maize Black covers the entirety of the toe and side panels in monochrome yellow, along with the translucent Air bubbles in the midsole and the outsole. Switching up the material instead of the color, the lower three-quarters of the side panels are made of leather, with diamond-knit nylon webbing on the top quarter. The upper mesh panel, tongue, midsole, and lateral heel Swoosh logo are all black, and the two-tone colorway is broken up by vertical strips of reflective silver on the tongue and heel.
We’ve seen a ton of Air Max 95s this year, but not many in yellow. Over the years, Nike has generally opted for green over yellow on the 95, with only a few select colorways getting the maize treatment. When they do come out with yellow 95s, they rarely miss, including a 2006 classic in maize, black, and white.
