Nike’s NCAA sneaker collab line has featured a strong run of HBCU colorways over the past few years, including a Yardrunners Air Max 95 Pack last football season for Spelman, Morehouse, Norfolk State, and FAMU. This year, with college teams back on the gridiron and students back in the stands, Nike is switching its HBCU collection to a new Air Max silhouette for new schools.

The Nike Air Max 97 North Carolina A&T is the latest colorway from the upcoming collection, following a red and black pair for Clark Atlanta University that arrived on the Nike calendar earlier this week. Just like the Clark Atlanta colorway, the NC A&T pair combines school colors with an interlocked logo on the tongue and an Aggies mascot graphic on the insoles.

The North Carolina A&T x Nike Air Max 97 will be released Holiday 2026 through Nike, NC A&T, and possibly other select retailers in-store and online.
