Nike’s Dunk wave crested after an incredible peak at the beginning of the decade, and you don’t see the shoe nearly as much as you used to. But when Nike wants to keep a classic in rotation, there are a few tried and true levers to pull. The latest Kobe Dunk Low Protro combines the insatiable hype for the Kobe line with the ever-growing popularity of the WNBA.
The Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro WNBA All-Star Weekend is a triple-whammy of hype, adding another Kobe Dunk Low Protro to the mix, stacking up the Kobe line’s WNBA colorways, and rolling out another collab shoe for the W’s 30th anniversary. On the All-Star pair, Nike keeps it simple through most of the upper, with pops of metallic pink giving us Warning Label vibes.
Starting with plush grey leather on the toe, lace, and heel panels, the toebox, side panels, and tongue add black fabric that reflects a bit in the light. The real star of the show is the Kobe sheath tongue logo, heel tab, and side panel Swooshes in bright metallic pink. A red sockliner brings it together with a translucent grey outsole featuring Mamba graphics worked into the tread.
The Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro WNBA All-Star Weekend will be released July 17, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult and grade school sizing, the retail prices are set at $135 (unisex) and $102 (GS). For all the latest Nike Kobe and WNBA news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
