Nike is getting set for next year with a calendar full of retro classics and new takes on vintage silhouettes, including a continuation of Beaverton’s recent Foamposite obsession. The latest Foams on the horizon go digging for precious gems, unearthing a new Obsidian pair that mixes deep, dreamy blue with black and gold accents.
Rocky Foam
The Nike Air Foamposite One Obsidian features a dark, shiny shade of obsidian blue on the toe and wavy side panel structure, with black nubuck on the lace panel, black mesh on the tongue, and black laces to match the black outsole. In classic Foamposite fashion, the colorway adds a hit of carbon fiber on the midfoot support. A gold mini Swoosh on the toe rounds it all out.
Of course, with the 2027 pair still nearly a year out from its drop date, we don’t have a complete set of images to match the pair. Still, with such a classic Foamposite structure, you can probably imagine exactly what the pair will look like, no 360 view needed.
