This is going to be a big year for the Foamposite. As Nike continues to look back to the late 1990s and early aughts for a double take on some of the most important modern retro basketball shoes, The Swoosh is looking towards an off-court hoop shoe renaissance, and the Foamposite Pro is a major factor in the plan.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Voltage is the latest Foam Pro to get the retro treatment, returning for the first time since its OG release in 1997. The debut colorway of the silhouette, the Voltage mix of black and neon green, has been a grail for Foamposite fans for decades, and returns at the perfect time, alongside colorways of the Foamposite One, Foamposite Pro, and the newly introduced Foam-inspired First Sight Shadow.

Featuring an all-black upper mixing soft nubuck and the Foamposite’s famed wavy armored side panels, the Volt Green hits are added on the side panel Swoosh, heel Swoosh, mini Swoosh on the lateral toe, and a strip of Volt running up the tongue to the tag and tongue tab. Foamposite is written in more Volt on the heel pull.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Voltage will be released May 8, 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and grade school sizes, the retail prices are set at $240 and $185, respectively. For all the latest Nike Foamposite news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
