Lions, Tigers, and Grizzlies: Nike Adds Tiger Stripes to an Animal Pack Ja 3 Colorway

If you pit a grizzly bear against a tiger in a cage match, who wins? If you ask Nike, the Grizzly ends up wearing the tiger pelt on his new shoes. That’s what the latest pair of Nike Ja 3 brings for the latest color from the upcoming Animal Pack, adding tiger stripes and an orange base to the Grizzlies star’s latest signature colorway.

The Nike Ja 3 Animal Pack Tiger is the latest ferocious pair of Ja 3s, bringing the jagged cat-scratch upper pattern into the jungle, turning the natural material shifts across the shoe into a perfect representation of the big cat. Starting with a base of orange across the reinforced mesh and TPU monogram upper, black stripes are added in between to create a tiger print pattern.

The “JA” hit on the lateral side is made up of a vertical Swoosh in orange for the “J” and a mix of the black stripes for the “A”, keeping the shoe’s large branding hit intact. The Nike logo on the ZoomX unit in the lateral midsole is also orange, with a sharp, striking font like tiger teeth. Finally, the word “Instinct” is added to the heel, replacing the “Twelve” text.

The Nike Ja 3 Animal Pack Tiger will be released July 3, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult, grade school, and pre-school sizing, the retail prices are set at $130 (men), $112 (GS), and $97 (PS).
