Quick Facts
- Swarovski and Nike team up for a new Nike Ja 3 colorway
- The jeweler's crystals are placed on the "JA" logo on the midfoot
- The Nike Ja 3 Swarovski will be released February 13, 2025
Ja Morant continued his crusade against sneaker leakers this week, posting a pile of new Nike Ja 3 colorways to Instagram, including pairs from the Jurassic Park collab pack, a silver and blue pair, and the upcoming Year of the Horse Lunar New Year colorway. But tucked in the corner of the quick video, we spotted a bejeweled pair that shines a little brighter than the rest.
The Nike Ja 3 Swarovski is a black and icy blue blend that draws all the attention to the crystal monogram on the side panel. Before we get to the crystals, the entire upper is blacked out with a matte finish covering the mesh and jagged TPU support panels. The tongue logo is a bright Tiffany-inspired blue, and the outsole is a semi-translucent icy blue. The star of the show, literally, is the JA monogram logo splashing across the side panel, incorporating the vertical Swoosh logo as the “J.” On this pair, the monogram hit is covered in a coat of Swarovski crystals in varying sizes. This will also mark the third Nike Ja sneaker to feature Swarovski crystals, as the Nike Ja 2 received an all-over crystal makeover and a more subtle scratch version.
Morant is finally back on the court with the Grizzlies, but he’s still struggling to get back to his All-Star performance level, dropping just 12 points as Cam Spencer led the Grizzlies to a win against the Clippers on Monday. The slow year on court hasn’t stopped Ja from dominating the basketball sneaker space this year, though, and for us, that’s what really counts.
