There’s a Nike Kobe 3 Protro Grinch Colorway On the Way for Fall

The Grinch waits all year for Christmas, and so do basketball fans. Whether you’re rooting for your team or against superstars like LeBron or Steph, Christmas is one of the year’s biggest basketball holidays, right up there with the first day of the Playoffs or March Madness. With a full slate of holiday games, Christmas has also become a showcase for new sneaker colorways, with the Nike Kobe Grinch line quickly achieving grail status.

The Grinch Who Stole Rebounds

This year, the Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro is getting its own Grinch run, with a fall release that will have it on feet and ready for the holidays. Seen via video from EU basketball retailer Basket4Ballers, the pair features a classic two-tone green mix like the Grinch’s fur, with hits of reddish pink on the secondary laces like his grouchy Santa hat.

The two-tone construction features a lighter Grinch green on the front half of the upper, with a darker blue-green shade on the heel and a gradient mix between the two on the outsole. The front half green returns on the Swoosh at the heel, and a splash of metallic green on the tongue tag finishes it off with a Kobe sheath logo.
