Nike has a few lines that will never fall off the map. Besides Jordan carving out his own lane, of course, Nike has no plans to drop the LeBron, KD, or Kobe lines anytime soon. As Beaverton continues to count its way through Kobe’s Protro retro packs, the Kobe 3 Protro has rolled out in a series of precious gem colorways. Next up is a Platinum Grey colorway, debuted by Jun Seok Yeo in the FIBA World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers.
The Nike Kobe 3 Protro Platinum Grey is the latest pair to debut on a shelf full of precious stones, this time with a Platinum Grey base on the toebox and basketball net-shaped side panels. Behind the Platinum, an Armory Blue shade of mesh adds some breathability and a hint of color. On the back, a metallic blue Swoosh flashes across the heel.

In addition to the Platinum Grey pair, the Nike Kobe 3 Protro gem campaign featured NCAA pairs in iridescent pearl white and Atomic Red for March Madness. Past the gems, the Kobe 3 has been popping up in Jalen Brunson PEs and WNBA All-Star exclusives.
The Nike Kobe 3 Protro Platinum Grey will be released Fall 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $190. For all the latest Nike Kobe news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
