The Nike Kobe 4 Protro is Dropping in a Gold and Purple Lakers Colorway this Summer

We’ve seen a lot of Nike Kobe pairs in team colorways that Kobe never actually wore lately. After taking on his high school jersey colors on the Lower Merion Dunks and Air Forces, we’ve seen previews of a few Charlotte Hornets colorways and a whole pack of Kobe 4 Protros in a Draft Day Collection, decked out in thirteen team shades, one pair for every city that skipped on Bryant in the ‘96 draft.

As LeBron, Luka, and the Lakers get ready for a battle of the legends first-round playoff series against KD and the Houston Rockets, a new leak shows an upcoming Nike Kobe 4 Protro colorway that will have Lakers fans lining up.

The Nike Kobe 4 Protro Lakers is the final pair in the Kobe 4 Protro Draft Day collection, with this pair clearly paying homage to the team that Bryant ended up playing for following the '96 draft. The pair uses golden hues across most of its panels, with a purple Swoosh cutting across the midfoot. Kobe's number 8 and 24 are split between the heel tabs of the left and right shoe, while the outsole features a marbled purple finish.
