Nike’s viral foam slip-ons have become a sensation both within the world of die-hard sneakerheads and the general public, so much so that every restock sells out in mere seconds. Keep trying, and eventually you get a pair. Who knows, maybe it’ll be the latest Flyknit version of the Mind 002 in Fossil Stone?
Nike Mind 002 Flyknit Fossil Stone Details
Unlike standard Mind 002 colorways, the Flyknit variant replaces the breathable mesh with stretchy, and honestly, much more comfortable material in Flyknit. This variant of the silhouette was actually developed by Nike’s ISPA division, and first premiered on the fragment design collaboration a few months back. Since then, we’ve seen the Mind 002 Flyknit release in one other colorway, Light Grey Volt Green.
Nike Mind 002 Flyknit Fossil Stone
This pair opts for a tonal Fossil Stone hue across much of its upper, broken up by deep hits of plum eclipse on the toecap and the lace lock. Inside, the Nike Mind-branded insole features the same plum eclipse hue, with white dots indicating where all 22 individual nodes are placed. As for the actual Mind technology on the outsole, they rest below a tonal foam midsole and are rendered in a dark brown shade.
