NIGO is going all in on 2001. Bringing it back to the early heyday of BAPE and the precipice of streetwear’s explosion, it’s understandable that NIGO might want to highlight the bright spots of his early career. Mostly, though, NIGO is nostalgic for a time when the Air Force 1 shape was…better.

NIGO’s Latest Air Force Collab

The NIGO x J-Hope x Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 is a follow-up to the HUMAN HOPE clothing capsule collab from last year. J-Hope is a Korean superstar best known as a member of the K-Pop sensation BTS. The collab with NIGO continues J-Hope’s fashion-forward persona, including his role as a Louis Vuitton brand ambassador.

Following a move from the Air Force 3 to the Air Force 1 ‘01, NIGO’s brought a white-on-white pair of the retro silhouette shape to his London art exhibit and collaborated with Jun Takahashi on a Last Orgy 2 colorway in purple. On the HUMAN HOPE Forces collab, the pair mixes three shades of brown patent leather, with a reddish shade on the toe and lace panel, rich oak brown on the toebox and side panels, and a greyish brown on the heel panel.

NIGO x J-Hope x Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 Release Details

According to Brandon1an and Sneaker Market RO, the NIGO x J-Hope x Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 will be released Holiday 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online.
