When BAPE founder NIGO was young, he wrote a monthly column for the Japanese culture magazine Takarajima called “Last Orgy.” Years later, the column was revived with the help of NIGO’s future business partner Jun Takahashi for an aptly titled sequel column, “Last Orgy 2.” Decades later, the duo is still working together, and for NIGO’s latest Nike collab, the Last Orgy 2 energy is being revived on a pair of vintage Air Force 1s.
The NIGO x Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 Last Orgy 2 is the latest in a recent wave of reworked Air Force 1 models designed to highlight the silhouette’s shape. Hot on the heels of the completely redesigned Nike SB Air Force 1, NIGO is bringing back the 2001 Air Force 1 shape as a nod to the long-canceled magazine column and the now-defunct NOWHERE retail space he created with Jun Takahashi.
Seen in one quick photo previewed on NIGOs Instagram with a shoutout to Jun, the Air Force 1 is a classic early 2000s mix of white and deep blue patent leather, adding a Loyal Blue shade to the toe, lace, and heel panels, plus the Swoosh, while Sail patent fills in the toebox and side panels. A 2 logo at the lateral heel calls out The Last Orgy 2 column, while the midsole returns to white and the outsole brings it back to blue.
The NIGO x Nike Air Force 1 Low '01 Last Orgy 2 will be released Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $150. For all the latest Nike Air Force 1 collab news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
