Sure, all focus is on New York City in the wake of the Knicks' championship over the weekend, but there’s another East Coast city hosting the World Cup and bringing some sunny heat wave vibes to the summer months. After dropping Air Force 1s for NYC and Air Max 95s for Baltimore, Nike is stopping halfway down I-95 next month for a Philadelphia-themed Air Force 1 colorway.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low '07 Philadelphia doesn’t dive into Eagles, Phillies, Italian Market, or cheesesteak vibes, so we’re not quite sure yet what the city-specific inspiration comes from, but if we had to guess, it looks a little like a shoutout to the Philadelphia Union, the city’s MLS soccer team.
Starting with Light Orewood Brown leather across the upper paneling, the tongue tog and heel tab add shaggy teal suede with PHL in deep blue script on the tongue tag, and Nike Air in white embroidered script on the heel. More teal accents are added to the Philly, PA, USA logo on the lateral heel, the insoles, AIR branding on the white midsole, and on the translucent teal outsole. On the Swooshes, the lateral side is gold on top of a teal backing, while the medial side switches to deep blue with a gold backing. Both Swooshes feature heavy white stitching around the entire border.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘07 Philadelphia will be released July 11, 2026, through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $125. For all the latest Nike news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
